Neither atoms nor the void are separate. The vacuum fluctuations link the behaviour of the atoms (Lamb shift or the Casimir effect) so much so that perhaps they are sitting on the Brane (tension in string cosmology)...this may be so dominating that not only did it generate an inflation aruond the GUT era but perhaps it may be driving the super-acceleration of the Universe today (SNe type 1a and CMBR data). Reductionism or ad-hoc localizations is artificial to enable you to have a fragmented understanding. This is well said in non-locality in quantum world.

Please read my book Timeless Reality. Vacuum fluctuations, etc, are still local particle phenomena, described by Feynman diagrams. Nolocality is an artifact of assuming, incorrectly, that time can only change in one direction.

  • (last paragraph) You state: It has been suggested that cells have memory and there has been research in enviromental memory being passed down to later generations via epigenetic. The idea is that since "everything is tied into the distributive consciousness" they intuitively evolve because they have access to the data on an unconscious level.

I agree that "everything is tied into the distributive consciousness"...but, was this a typo on your part? --Kurt
