Summary

Many are saying "global warming" compounded by "global dimming" is one of the most important issues facing humanity over the next 100 years. Most people are completely unaware of the ramifications of China and India fully entering into the global markets and the demand that will be placed on fossil fuel. Another less discussed global pollutant is global dimming which results from particle pollution. The fact is as we become clean burners of organic fuels the decease in particle pollution will exacerbate warming. We are playing Russian roulette with the environment hoping that it will fix itself instead of taking a proactive stance by asking ourselves can we risk it? Can we afford to gamble with the world? Can we afford to price of any attempt to decrease greenhouse gases?

Questions

  • Will the Earth be able to compensate to handle the load?
  • How much will China and India exacerbate the conditions over the next 20 years?
  • Are the recent Cat 5 Hurricanes a result of warming?
